Genre 🎥🍿

Pursuit of Excellence!

  • I have opted to go for a Psychological Thriller movie genre. I am drawn by this genre as it allows me to be creative by crafting an intense and suspenseful narration for my audience. This genre helps throughout exploring the themes of fear, anxiety and mysteries. It will leave a lasting impression on my audience as this genre can easily mix and match psychological expressions with mysterious scenarios. It all will allow me to create a film which doesn't only entertains but also will prompt the audience to reflect on something.
  • To Achieve Excellence, I will be keeping in mind that thorough attention must be given to all aspects in production. Such as developing a stronghold plot with unknown and unexpected twists to planning the shoots. Furthermore the camera angles, and provocative lighting will enhance the main psychological suspense, attracting viewers in the story

 The Guilty (2021)

The Movie "The Guilty (2021)" was a remake of the original film Guilty which came out in 2018, I was intrigued by the first film so I had been waiting for a part two of the film, but Netflix surprised me by doing a remake which went beyond my expectations, My first thought of it was that how entertaining and different can a remake be, but boy oh boy! it was a straight up "hit" for me. For a brief summary the story contains three characters that are all people with good hearts. Joe, Emily, and Henry. Except, none of them are innocent. Jack Gyllenhaal shows up acting as a 911 operator during a forest fire which is getting closer to Los Angeles . It's clear from the setting that his character Joe is not your ordinary operator. Just suddenly before his shift ends he gets a terrific scared call from Emily, a girl abducted/kidnapped, before Joe can gather enough information she hangs up the phone. Which then leaves a suspense in the story making it more appealing. Jack Gyllenhaal delivers his best, transitioning from a warm heated colleague all the way to a crazy mad man struggling with not only the search for Emily but also his own guilt trauma. Overall there is a crazy plot and a drama to keep you watching. The film grabs your attention, and slowly but surely tightens its grip throughout the film.

 Get Out (2017)

The Movie "Get Out (2017)" was psychological thriller as well as a horror film, which inspires me a lot to be working on a movie like this, as my thinking and point of view matches the story of the movie, and the acting was top-notch the actors performances were really put to the test, and I can say that they played it very well. For a brief summary the story contains the character Chris played by Daniel Kaluuya an African-American man, who decides to visit his girlfriend's parents during a weekend getaway. Although everything felt normal at first, the more time he spent there he felt things taking a turn a Wrong One! On the other hand The cultural divisions are highlighted beautifully throughout the movie and they are not afraid to touch on it which is good. Overall the the plot of the film was totally unique and full of twists. Even if it didn't felt like such a scary movie. It was the creepy feeling you get when you see it and you know something is not right but u dont know what it is. These factors make the film really appealing/

American Psycho (2000)

The movie "American Psycho (2000)" Is my all time favorite movie and I have watched it over and over its that movie for me which never gets null or boring. Firstly its based on the novel of the same name by Bret Easton Ellis (1991) which I had also read so I had always been wanting a movie regarding it When I got to know this movie exists I was shocked for the plus point that my all time favorite actor was the leading character in the movie known as Christian Bale but in the movie Patrick Bateman, I follow him due to his famous character in Batman series. Well lets get started with the story, From being shown as a well established investment banker, the plot follows Patrick Bateman's horrifying transition into an uncontrolled brutality phase. The subject shown in the movie is not like any of the regular movies that you would have watched and it will surely leave you shocked if you are not ready. Christian Bale has completely nailed the role of the wretched Patrick Bateman. This movie is one of those unique films that managed to balance dark comedy, horror, gore, performances in equal proportions and gives a whole new feel to the movie. I would definitely look for a part two of this!
